Ms Adrianne Lapar
Programme Director, Watchlist on Children and Armed Conflict
Ms Adrianne Lapar is the Program Director of Watchlist on Children and Armed Conflict. She was an associate protection officer at UNHCR Caqueta, Colombia (July 2016- February 2017) where she served as focal point for inter-agency coordination and contingency planning at the regional level, including periodic evaluation of activities and results, and information gathering and analysis. She worked as international protection officer (February 2015 - August 2015) and assessment team leader (January 2016 - April 2016) at Nonviolent Peaceforce. She also worked as Human rights officer at United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) (June 2013 - January 2015) and as Senior Advocacy Coordinator at Human rights watch (July 2009 - June 2013).
She is an experienced human rights and protection specialist with expertise in international human rights and humanitarian law, humanitarian protection, and conflict analysis with over nine years of experience in a variety of regions and contexts, including East Africa, the Middle East, Southern Europe, and Latin America.
