Dr Musavengana Chibwana

Dr Musavengana Chibwana is a child rights expert with a wealth of experience spanning for more than fifteen years working with child rights duty bearers from the local level up to the global level. He has worked with agencies such as Higherlife Foundation, United Nations Women (UN Women), Swedish Workplace HIV and AIDS Program, Progressio, The Child Rights Network for Southern Africa (CRNSA) and recently the African Committee of Experts on the Rights and Welfare of the Child Secretariat (ACERWC). He holds a Diploma in Personnel Management, BA Honours Degree in Development Studies, Master of Philosophy on Children’s Rights and PhD in Social Policy. His areas of research interest are: child rights governance, child protection in the context of armed conflict, civil society in Africa, using pluriversal lenses.
